RALEIGH, N.C. — Clay Aiken is definitely the hot ticket of the upcoming
North Carolina State Fair
.
Tickets to the Raleigh native's Oct. 18 concert at Dorton Arena went on sale on the State Fair Web site at noon Friday and sold out within 15 minutes, according to fair officials.
Tickets for all state fair concerts are available online. Officials said tickets for performances by Kimberley Locke, Lonestar and MercyMe were selling briskly.
Advance tickets and ride books also went on sale

Fairgoers save $1 off regular admission and 50 percent off ride books.
The fair runs Oct. 15 - 24 at the state fairgrounds in Raleigh.
