Judge Reduces Bond For Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Kids

RALEIGH, N.C. — Bond was reduced Thursday for a Raleigh man accused of child sexual abuse.

Charbel Hamaty will be placed under house arrest once he posts bond.

Police say Hamaty appears in sexually explicit pictures with his infant son and 6-year-old stepdaughter.

Dozens of supporters showed up in court Thursday to argue investigators misinterpreted the man's innocent affection.
