Durham, N.C. — A Durham man who has tuberculosis and skipped treatments for the disease has been arrested, police say.
Thomas Harris has been skipping treatments for the infectious disease since November, authorities said.
Health officials say everyone who has been in close contact with Harris have been notified and will be tested.
Harris is being held alone in a cell at the Durham County jail, where his bail is set at $50,000.
Harris is also an armed robbery suspect, police say.
