Fayetteville police said Monday they are looking for at least one more suspect in a stabbing death outside a bar early Sunday.
Jacob Nolasco, 24, of 4040 Hwy. 210, Fayetteville, was charged with simple assault after the incident outside the Palomino/South Beach Club at 2869 Owen Drive.
The victim, Aljandro Martinez, 19, of Fayetteville, died at the scene. The incident occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday, police said.
"Nolasco was involved in an altercation with Martinez at the time of his death and is believed to be a co-conspirator in the homicide," police said in a statement.
Nolasco was being held in the Cumberland County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
Police said there was a $1,000 reward for information in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
