CARY, N.C. — Former Cary Mayor Koka Booth is out of the hospital and recovering at home.

He is recovering from a stroke he suffered a week ago. His wife, Blanch, said Booth did not suffer any paralysis, but he does have some difficulty speaking.

Doctors say he should make a full recovery.

Booth served five terms either as a councilman, mayor pro-tem or mayor.
