RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County school plans to give its students a little more time to eat lunch.
Raleigh's Fox Road Elementary is about to open a mobile cafeteria. The extra space will allow students to go to lunch 20 minutes later than they do now.
Because of overcrowding, lunches can start as early as 10:30 a.m. at some schools. Fox Road students will not be as rushed. They will get an extra five minutes.
Students will be split between the new space and the school lunchroom.
