FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — One person has died and two others are injured after the car they were in crashed into a tree in Fuquay-Varina.
The wreck happened along a curve on James Slaughter Road early Tuesday.
The Highway Patrol says the car caught fire after hitting the tree.
A similar accident happened on the same stretch of road on May 3.
No names have been released.
