BURLINGTON, N.C. — An 8-year-boy was killed when he was hit by a school bus Friday in Burlington.
According to the Burlington Police Department, the accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. at Homer Andrews Elementary School on Buckingham Road.
The boy reportedly was riding his bike when he was struck by the bus.
Police have not released the names of the boy or the driver.
There has been no word on whether police plan to file charges.
