WILSON, N.C. — A judge refused to reduce bond for a teen charged as an accessory in the murder of a Wilson girl.
Julian Deans, 19, is accused of trying to help two suspects with an alibi and is charged with accessory after the fact. His bond remains at $1 million.
Investigators say James Johnson, 18, and Kenneth Meeks, 16, carjacked Brittany Willis at the Brentwood Shopping Center.
They say the teens took the 17-year-old to a field where they raped, robbed and shot her.
Willis would have been a freshman at Peace College in Raleigh this semester.
