HENDERSON, N.C. — A fiery wreck on Interstate 85 north of Henderson killed a woman and injured a man and a baby Thursday night.
Witnesses say the car swerved in front of a tractor-trailer and both vehicles burst into flames.
The northbound section of I-85 was closed for several hours.
The state Highway Patrol is still in the process of identifying the victims.
The car had New York license plates.
