Field Of Marijuana Found In Durham

— A National Guard drug raid unit discovered a field of marijuana plants off Old Cheek Road early Friday.

The unit notified the Durham County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say some of the plants are 10 feet or taller. They estimate the crop's street value at around $500,000.
