Raleigh, N.C. — Wake County investigators have released the vehicle of a man whose wife was killed two months ago.
They confiscated and searched Jason Young’s white Ford Explorer shortly after his pregnant wife, Michelle Young, was found beaten to death Nov. 3 in the couple’s Wake County home.
Late Thursday afternoon, Jason Young’s attorney, Roger Smith, picked up the vehicle for his client from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators are not calling Jason Young a suspect, but he was one person ordered him to turn over fingerprints shortly after the crime.
Search warrants also say that Jason Young was having a relationship with a woman in Florida and that he was not cooperating with investigators.
