Brother is suspect in Fayetteville double homicide

Donald Curtis Jackson Jr., 46, and Tammy Michelle Jones, 42, were found dead in their camper-trailer, at 3717 Francis Drive, Friday morning, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police arrested a man Friday night and charged him with the murder of his brother and that man's girlfriend.

Donald Curtis Jackson Jr., 46, and Tammy Michelle Jones, 42, were found dead in their camper-trailer, at 3717 Francis Drive, Friday morning, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Donald Jackson's brother, Daniel Corey Jackson, 35, of 3729 Camden Road, faces two charges of first-degree murder. Police said the brothers fought before Daniel Jackson shot his brother and Jones.

Daniel Jackson was being held without bond in the Cumberland County Detention Center.
