RALEIGH, N.C. — United States Marshals want to move David Passaro to a federal prison in Butner.
The former CIA contractor from Lillington is charged with beating a prisoner in Afghanistan. That prisoner later died.
Passaro had been housed at the Wake County Jail. The jail will not confirm if he is still there.
The transfer request was filed Tuesday and asks for a response by Friday.
