GARNER, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that injured a 16-year-old girl.
Deputies were called out to a house on Old Stage Road, south of Garner, at 3:29 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say Robert Moon, 30, did not shoot the girl, but was at the scene at the time of the shooting. He was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
The Sheriff's Office says more charges are pending.
The girl is in serious condition at WakeMed. Her name has not been released.
