Raleigh House Damaged By Fire

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Lightning struck a townhouse in Raleigh Thursday night, ripping through the roof and charring everything on the top floor.

Firefighters responded to a call at the home on Wayne Street at about 9 p.m.

After putting out the fire, they pulled all the contents from the house into the front yard to make sure no smaller fires were burning.

No one was home when the fire happened.
