Letter Fails To Turn Up Leads In Linda Watts Case

SANFORD, N.C. — A new lead in the case of a missing Sanford woman came up empty.

The

Sanford Herald

recently received a letter detailing where Linda Watts' body was, but after a four-hour search, authorities came up empty.

Watts was reported missing back in May. She disappeared while walking home from a shift at the newspaper.
