— A Siler City man was killed when his dirt bike collided with a sport utility vehicle Saturday night on Wedgedale Avenue in Durham.

Police said the accident occurred at 9:17 p.m. An eastbound Kawasaki dirt bike driven by Maurice Bagley, 22, of Siler City collided with a westbound 1995 Ford Explorer driven by David Saulters Jr., 47, of Durham.

The dirt bike collided with the right front quarter panel of the Explorer, which was turning into a driveway in the 3000 block of Wedgedale Avenue.
