RALEIGH, N.C. — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a wreck involving a UPS truck.
The Highway Patrol say James MacQueen, 59, was traveling eastbound on Tryon Road on his motorcycle just before 9 a.m. Authorities say a UPS truck, that was traveling west on Tryon Road, was turning left onto Withers Road and collided with MacQueen.
Corydon Purdy, the driver of the UPS truck, is being charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and failure to yield.
