RALEIGH, N.C. — The FBI is looking for a Wake County man who is considered armed and dangerous.
Michael Sheppard is accused of assaulting and kidnapping a woman in Tennessee. Investigators say he drove her to North Carolina where she escaped.
Sheppard is a convicted sex offender whose last known address is in Zebulon.
Agents say he is driving a stolen 2001 tan Mercury Sable with license plate
