Driver In Raleigh Police Car Wreck Charged With Drunken Driving

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Raleigh say a drunken driver is responsible for a wreck involving one of their own Sunday night.

The police cruiser and a car driven by Octavia Johnson crashed just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Capitol Boulevard and New Hope Church Road.

Johnson was charged with DWI.

Johnson and Officer Raymond Malott were treated for minor injuries.
