Robeson Wreck Kills Three

ST. PAULS, N.C. — Three people, including a 9-year-old boy, are dead after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 in Robeson County Tuesday evening.

Witnesses say a minivan with New York license plates was speeding before its driver lost control. The van flipped several times before crashing. Three passengers, an elderly Florida woman, a 27-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy, were killed.

An elderly man was taken to a hospital. There is no word on his condition.
