FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Lawyers for the city of Fayetteville are back in court Monday in another court battle over annexation.
The Homebuilders Association is challenging annexation on technical grounds. The group says it should have had more time to file petitions against the city's proposal.
Last week, a judge ruled in the city's favor in two other cases.
Through annexation, the city will add 26 square miles and almost 43,000 residents from Cumberland County.
