CARY, N.C. — Biodiesel is cleaner, biodegradeable and is now available in Cary.
The BP station near McGregor Village is offering a blend of biodiesel called B-20.
Progress Energy has already committed to filling its trucks with the alternative fuel once the pump is turned on.
Biodiesel is made from organic feed stocks, such as soybeans and cooking oil. It produces lower emissions of visible smoke and carbon monoxide.
