RALEIGH, N.C. — A long-time employee of Capitol Broadcasting Company was honored posthumously at the Raleigh Little Theatre Thursday evening.
The Louise "Scottie" Stephenson Ampitheatre was dedicated at the theatre's rose garden.
Stephenson worked for Capitol Broadcasting Company for 58 years and helped WRAL-TV station secure its FCC license.
"We weren't worried about getting in trouble with the FCC," said Jim Goodmon, president of Capitol Broadcasting Co. "We were worried about getting in trouble with Scottie. I mean she expected us to do the right thing."
"She always worried about people. She was so much a part of who we were and are," Goodmon said.
Stephenson died two years ago.
