BENSON, N.C. — A Johnston County woman was arrested for throwing hot bleach on a man.
Tanisha Alford, 28, of Benson, allegeedly threw a pan of boiling bleach on James Williams, 52, also of Benson.
According to investigators, the incident happened at 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Alford and Williams got into an argument, and Alford later made the bleach attack.
Alford is being held in the Johnston County jail on $40,000 bond.
Williams is in the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center in good condition.
