RALEIGH, N.C. — A car ended up on its roof on the Raleigh beltline near Lake Boone Trail late Sunday.
Police say the driver fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of her 2-door Eclipse convertible.The wreck blocked all lanes on the outer Beltline for about an hour.
The driver was not injured, but a dog in the vehicle suffered a few scratches. Firefighters tried to comfort him at the scene.
