MEBANE, N.C. — A Mebane man accused of murdering his daughter in May reportedly told his wife that he was going to do something to his daughter.
Court records show Rufus Bishop apparently called his estranged wife shortly before shooting his daughter, Myiesha.
According to court records, Bishop said in the call, "You better come get her now or you won't see her again."
After the call, police say Bishop shot his daughter, then set the house on fire.
