RALEIGH, N.C. — Arson investigators are looking into an early morning fire at a popular Raleigh movie theater complex.

Crews were called to the Blue Ridge Cinemas on Blue Ridge Road at 5:28 a.m. Friday. Officials say a cleaning crew smelled smoke, but no one is sure where or how it started.

The small fire, which is considered highly suspicious, according to Raleigh police, apparently burned itself out.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department at (919) 890-3555.
