FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police in Fayetteville are investigating a deadly shooting at a Waffle House restaurant early Thursday.
Officers were called to a shooting at the restaurant at 5420 Yadkin Road at 3 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found Marcus Seals, 22, in the rear parking lot. Seals died at the scene.
A second shooting victim, Stacey Turman, 26, of Elizabethtown, was inside the restaurant when police arrived.
Turman was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he is undergoing surgery.
Police say the shooting victims were not restaurant employees.
