Durham Woman Tries To Prevent Foreclosure

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham woman is fighting the city's attempt to foreclose on her home.
Marlynda Bodison owes the city thousands in mortgage payments and taxes. She went about eight years without making payments on a low-interest city loan.
In April, the city council voted to foreclose on Bodison's Canal Street home. She has appealed the decision and heads to court next month to fight it.
