Teen Arrested In Raleigh Drive-By Shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Raleigh have made an arrest in a drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning.

Marcus Williams, 17, has been charged with assault with intent to kill.

Police say Williams shot Justin Simmons, 17, in the back along the 2600 block of Broad Oaks Drive around 12:30 a.m.

Simmons is being treated at WakeMed. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

There is no word on a motive.
