CLAYTON, N.C. — Investigators think they know what caused two business fires in Clayton.
They think a discarded cigarette butt in a trash can may have sparked the fire at Tacos To Go. They believe an electrical problem at Absolute Wireless led to that fire.
Fires broke out at the businesses in February. Both businesses are along Highway 70.
