Orbit Comet Exercises Taking Place At Fort Bragg

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — For the next few days, Fort Bragg soldiers are simulating a terrorist attack.

The soldiers are conducting Operation Orbit Comet, an exercise that happens twice a year.

There will be a lot of military and civilian emergency workers on post and tighter security at checkpoints, so you are advised to stay off post if possible.

Orbit Comet runs through Wednesday.
