RALEIGH, N.C. — Recently released information about the death of Eric Miller may never reach the ears of a jury.
Wake County District Attorney Colon Willoughby says a statement shared by attorney Rick Gammon may not be allowed in court after all.
The statement, which has not been made public, came from Gammon's client, Derril Willard, who police say was having an affair with Miller's wife, Ann. Willard later committed suicide.
The state Supreme Court forced Gammon to produce the statement because it implicated someone in Miller's death.
