RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man suspected of violent crimes against women has died.
Charles Kearney was shot in the head by police last month after leading them on a chase.
Kearney died Friday night. Police are waiting for an autopsy to determine what caused his death.
Kearney had been charged with raping and kidnapping a woman in Raleigh. He also had been charged with kidnapping and assaulting a woman in Rocky Mount.
