Moore County Pedestrian Killed

ROBBINS, N.C. — Officials say a woman who was struck and killed in Moore County Thursday morning stepped into traffic on purpose.

Authorities say the victim was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Highway 705 in Robbins around 7:15 a.m.

The call orginally came in as an accident, but Moore County sheriff's deputies determined it was not accidental

There is no word on the woman's identity.
