DURHAM, N.C. — A 10-year-old Durham boy was charged with robbery and assault.
Police said the boy, whose name was not released, tried to rob a man mowing the lawn at an apartment complex on Monday.
When the worker told the boy he did not have any money, police say the boy tried to rob another landscape worker.
The boy reportedly shot the worker in the chest with a BB gun. He was not seriously hurt.
