Roanoke Rapids Approves Tax Break

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — People living in Roanoke Rapids will soon get a tax break.

The city council voted Tuesday to cut the property tax rate by a penny as of July 1.

The 1-cent cut in the property tax rate will mean a $10 savings on property worth $100,000.
