RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh Police have released the identity of a woman whose body was found in Falls Lake Monday morning.
Arlene Malinowski, 57, was found in the lake Monday afternoon.
Malinowski's husband reported her missing to the Raleigh Police Department Monday morning, according to officials. He said she was last seen around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Wake County sheriff's deputies and a K-9 unit started searching the area near a boat ramp at Falls Lake after someone reported an abandoned car off Creedmoor Road around 10 a.m. Monday.
Raleigh police are not investigating the case as a crime.
