CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Part of a major road on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will close to traffic Wednesday and stay closed for a few weeks.
Ridge Road will be blocked to through traffic just east of the southern end of Stadium Drive to allow for utility work.
The work should be finished by July 6. New traffic patterns will be marked.
Stadium Drive reverts back to its normal two-way traffic pattern.
