Fishing Rods Taken From Andy Griffith Statue

RALEIGH, N.C. — Some thieves are stealing memorabilia associated with "The Andy Griffith Show."

Fans visiting the statue will notice both fishing rods from the statue are missing.

The life-sized tribute went up in Raleigh's Pullen Park six months ago.

Last month, Parks and Recreation workers noticed the plaque was missing. Officials say it is still missing.
