Wayne County Authorities Search For 'Armed And Dangerous' Fugitive

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Wayne County detectives are looking for Quanta Garner in connection with a shooting last week in Dudley, N.C. According to deputies, Garner was last seen in Greenville, N.C., on Saturday.

Garner is wanted in connection with the shooting of his uncle, Lonnie Garner, last Friday at a residence in Dudley. Investigators believe Quanta Garner fired into the residence after an argument with his uncle, who received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hip.
Two other homes in the same mobile home park also were shot into during the shooting.
Investigators said Quanta Garner departed the area with the firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous.
