RALEIGH, N.C. — Clay Aiken fans are in an uproar over a photo that has appeared on the Internet.
The photo shows the American Idol finalist with his makeup artist. He has his arms wrapped around her with his hands on her chest.
The woman looks surprised. It is hard to tell if the photo is staged.
WRAL placed a call into Clay but has not heard back from him.
WRAL received several phone calls and e-mails from Clay fans upset that the photo violates the wholesome image he wants to project.
