EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — Five teenagers and an Edgecombe County volunteer fireman have been arrested on arson charges.
Edgecombe County sheriff officials said the fires were set between March 28 and May 5.
Authorities said volunteer fireman Steven Denny, 19, of Tarboro was charged with setting fire to a wooden area on April 18.
Authorities do not know whether Denny and the other teens acted as a team in setting the fires.
