SANFORD, N.C. — The
Sanford Herald
hopes a $5,000 reward will lead to the safe return of a missing employee.
Linda Watts, of Sanford, has not been seen in more than a week.
Witnesses told police Watts was forced into a car by two men after leaving work at the
Sanford Herald
the night of May 11.
The newspaper originally offered a $1,000 reward.
Sanford police said investigators are following every lead, but they need the public's help.
