Monday Expected To Be Busy Day At Post Office

RALEIGH, N.C. — Time is almost up if you want to send those holiday packages. If you are using first class mail, items need to be mailed by today to get there by Christmas.

Priority mail can still go out Wednesday and Express mail will make it on time if mailed by Saturday. The Post Office expects Monday to be its busiest day of the year.

Monday is also FedEx's busiest day. Air cargo expects to handle a record 9.8 million packages.

UPS expects its busiest day to be on Wednesday. Worldwide ground and air systems are expected to deliver 21 million packages that day.
