Funeral To Be Held For Raleigh Community Leader

RALEIGH, N.C. — One of Raleigh's African-American leaders will be remembered this week.

John P. "Top" Greene died Saturday night at age 84.

A community center on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard bears his name.

Greene's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the C.A. Haywood Memorial Chapel in Raleigh.
