RALEIGH, N.C. — The
North Carolina Department of Transportation
has begun rehabilitating nine roads in Durham County.
The rehabilitation projects are expected to be complete by mid-July.
The DOT is rehabilitating the following roads:
U.S. 501 from the Durham County line to Bywood Drive
Erwin Road from N.C. 751 to the Orange County line
Farrington Mill Road from Farrington Road to the Chatham County line
Glover Road from Angier Avenue to N.C. 147
Bivens Road from Kelvin Drive to the Orange County line
Cheek Road from Junction Road to Creech Road
Chapel Hill Road from Jean Avenue to the Orange County line
Bahama Road from the Person County line to S.R. 1611
Hobson Road from N.C. 54 to Davis Drive
During construction, motorists can expect lane closures, heavy delays and night and weekend work.
