FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating a deadly stabbing Thursday night.
Officers say the occupants of two cars were involved in an argument which spilled into the roadway of Watauga Road near Alleghany Drive around 11 p.m.
Authorities believe Asian Johnson stabbed Danny Whitfield and beat another person, Eugene Elliott, with a baseball bat.
Whitfield died in the incident while Elliott suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Officers are looking for Johnson, who is charged him with first-degree murder and assault charges. The Fayetteville Police Department is asking with information to call (910) 433-1856 or CrimeStoppers at (910) 433-8477.
